Nicholas Margetis
I am an editor and journalist for JTNN. I also work on an amateur blog called Jenova which focuses on sports, politics, and just news in general. I plan to attend a university in the state of Florida when I graduate from Jesuit High School. For my degree, I am planning on majoring in political science in college. I may go into a support role in politics or may plan to continue my education after my bachelor’s degree. In college, I also may look into an internship for our local congressman. I was in Washington D.C. this summer and had the opportunity to meet our local representative. He brought up having me apply for an internship due to my level of interest in the political process. My other interests include political activism, soccer, football, video games, fashion, and supporting West Ham United. I am also a part of a political activist group called Democracy Spring. Democracy Spring is a coalition of a bunch of political groups whose main objective is to get money out of politics and electoral reform through activism, civil disobedience, and state amendments. Along with my coursework as a senior, I am an offensive lineman on the Jesuit varsity football team.
