How Fun Is Fun Day?
October 18, 2017
Merriam Webster Dictionary describes Fun Day as a day where there are no classes and students can actually enjoy a day at school. I’m just kidding, there’s no definition of Fun Day in the dictionary, but it does live up to its name. At Jesuit, there is always two fun days a year, so one per semester. This coming fun day is on Friday, October 13th. Spooky? I know right. But you’ll have nothing to worry about. Bad luck isn’t even real. Or is it? Either way, who cares, fun day is still going to be fun, and that’s all that matters.
Fun day consists of many tournaments such as a dodgeball tournament in the gym, a Bocce tournament on the football field, a FIFA tournament in room 501, a Ping-Pong tournament in room 209, and a cornhole tournament hosted by the SADD Club. If tournaments aren’t your cup of tea, maybe you would like to enjoy some video games in rooms 101 and 106. There will also be strategy board games in room 306. If competing in tournaments and playing video games or board games is not to your liking, there will be a cooking class held in room 206. What’s being taught how to cook, I am not sure, so you might as well go and find out for yourself.
